What information do you need for a quotation?
Origin, destination, cargo description, number of packages, dimensions, gross weight, value, incoterms, required collection or delivery date and the service required.
Can you arrange both freight and customs clearance?
Yes, subject to the route and goods. A combined approach can make the hand-off between transport and customs easier to coordinate.
Do you support air, sea and road freight?
Yes. Available options depend on the route, timing, cargo and carrier availability.
Can you confirm the correct commodity code?
We can support the review of commodity descriptions and available classification information. The final classification must be based on the full facts and applicable tariff rules.
Can you guarantee customs clearance by a particular time?
No. We can support accurate preparation and timely submission, but authorities may inspect goods or request further information, and their processing times are outside our control.
What documents are normally required?
Common documents include a commercial invoice, packing list and transport document. Additional licences, origin evidence or certificates may be required depending on the goods and route.
Do you handle dangerous or controlled goods?
These are considered individually. Please disclose any dangerous, controlled, excise, food, plant, animal, medical or otherwise regulated goods at the start.
How are charges calculated?
Charges depend on the route, mode, shipment size, complexity, customs requirements and third-party costs. A quotation will state the applicable scope and assumptions.
